Nelson Nevada Ghost Town Photography – venue link

Nelson Nevada Ghost Town pre wedding shoot – Jade & Gavin contacted me some time ago about the possibility of covering their wedding in Las Vegas, the thought of going to such an amazing place to shoot a wedding was just so exciting.
When Jade called me to say they would like me to be their wedding photographer my first thought was “WOOHOO” I’m going to Vegas! Then once it sank in I started to plan and research some of the locations and photos I would like to shoot.

That’s when I thought it would be really cool to photograph a pre-wedding shoot at a location I had seen on the internet the Neon Graveyard, after I mentioned this to Jade & Gavin they were really keen on this idea, but unfortunately the red tape involved to take pictures there was just ridiculous so we looked elsewhere. This is when we came across an old mining town called Nelson about 40 mins drive from Vegas strip.

When we arrived I could not believe my eyes, everywhere was a photo opportunity with lots of old Americana, old cars, signs, buildings even a crashed plane!!

We had a great time looking around and capturing some awesome pictures, I so hope I get the chance to go back and shoot at Nelson again some day.
